Equally one of the most important phases of a building project - bringing ideas and concepts into built reality. The construction phase is complex and requires continued collaboration, coordination and experience. With 27 years' experience in the design and construction industry, i4a offer consulting on projects during the construction phase for building Owners, Developers, Contractors and Consultants. Cory Stechyshyn has been full-time Construction Contract Administrator on large scale and complex projects throughout his career on projects ranging in duration from 1 to 4 years construction.

Services can include field review, reporting, chairing and recording of construction meetings, field photography, shop drawing review, coordination of construction details, Certificates for Payment, processing of supplemental instruction and changes, coordinating Contractors Requests for Information, coordinating with Authorities Having Jurisdiction, Testing Agencies and Government authorities, deficiency review, close-out procedure coordination and warranty processing.

Departing from the traditional Design-Bid-Build process, the Design-Build process offers an Owner continuity, expertise and collaboration of the entire project team from day one of the projects conception - bringing together the Owner, Architect, Contractor and other specialty Consultants needed for the successful delivery of the project.

Design-Build is a project delivery method where the Architect / Consultant (Designer) and the Contractor (Builder) are hired together to represent the Owner in delivering a building project using an integrated process where the design and construction budget and schedule are all coordinated together to deliver the Owner a successful project, often on an expedited construction schedule and with a pre-determined construction budget.
