Ontario Building Code and SB-10 Energy Supplement. Is a spandrel panel that is within a curtain wall system considered a wall or fenestration?
According to the building officials that I have spoken with, spandrel panels are considered fenestration and have to be included in your fenestration calculation. Typical spandrel panels cannot meet the continuous insulation requirements.
